Book a telehealth session →Why telehealth works
You don’t lose an hour to traffic.
Log in, sit down, be seen. When the session ends, you’re already home.
You can be anywhere.
Rural NSW, another state, working from a hotel, at home with a napping toddler — as long as you have private space and reasonable internet, we can meet.
The clinical work is the same.
For most concerns, telehealth is as effective as in-person [VERIFY — cite specific evidence-based sources on request]. For some things — early speech assessment, in-person physio manual work — in-clinic is a better fit. We’ll tell you honestly which is which.
How a telehealth session actually works
You book the way you’d book any session — through the website or by phone. The confirmation email carries a secure video link. Fifteen minutes before your appointment, we send a text: “Your telehealth link: [x]. Bring water, close other tabs, we’ll see you at [time].”
You click the link. Your clinician joins. The session runs 50 minutes for adults, 45 for kids. You’re seen.
If you’re using a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan, telehealth psychology sessions are rebated the same as in-person [VERIFY — current MBS rules]. NDIS covers telehealth at the same rate as in-clinic. Private health extras vary — check with your fund, or ask us to check.
Telehealth questions
A private space, a device with a camera, and reasonably stable internet. If your internet drops out mid-session, we call you on the phone and finish the session that way.
For Medicare Mental Health Care Plan, yes [VERIFY current rules]. For NDIS, yes. For private health, varies. For DVA and WorkCover, usually yes. See the funding page for each stream.
For some things — pain education, movement coaching, rehab guidance, chronic pain management. For hands-on assessment or manual therapy, in-clinic is usually the better fit. Your physio will tell you honestly.
Yes for many things — especially for parent coaching, older kids doing structured tasks, or clients we already know from in-clinic. For a first paediatric assessment, we usually recommend in-clinic if it’s feasible.
No. Telehealth works anywhere in Australia. Our clinicians are registered nationally.
