Physiotherapy

A physiotherapist who reads your file before they meet you.

For all ages. In our Strathfield South clinic or by telehealth, anywhere in Australia. Medicare, private health, DVA, WorkCover, CTP, NDIS, self-funded — we’ll help you work out what applies.

You don’t need a referral to come. Sore, stiff, or just not moving like yourself is reason enough.

You might be here because…

Something hurts, or something happened.

A back that’s had enough, a sports injury, surgery you’re recovering from, or pain that’s been hanging around longer than it should.

Movement is changing with age.

Balance, strength, confidence on stairs or footpaths. You’d like to keep doing the things you do — and a plan that respects how you live.

It’s about your baby or child.

A head preference or flat spot in a baby, motor milestones arriving late, or a child whose movement looks different from their peers. Paediatric physio is its own craft — we have it.

How our physiotherapists work

Our physiotherapists start with your story — what happened, what it’s stopping you from doing, and what “back to normal” means in your actual week. Then hands-on assessment, honest explanation of what they find, and a plan you understand and agree to. Sessions are 50 minutes for adults, 45 for children.

We work with musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain approaches, and paediatric physiotherapy — matched to what you bring, not what’s currently fashionable. Exercise programs are built around your life; if we’re going to use a specific approach with you, we’ll explain what it is and why we think it fits.

If a physiotherapist thinks you’d also benefit from psychology, occupational therapy, or speech input — say, for pain and sleep, or a child’s motor and sensory needs together — they’ll ask you before they mention it internally. Nothing about you moves inside our team without your say-so.

What to expect

Your first session

1

Before you come in.

You’ll fill out a short form — what happened, what it’s stopping you from doing. Your physiotherapist reads it before they meet you. Bring any scans or reports you have.

2

The session itself.

Your story first, then hands-on assessment — movement, strength, the places it catches. Your physiotherapist explains what they find in plain words, and treatment usually starts the same day.

3

After.

You’ll leave with an honest read on what’s going on, a plan you’ve agreed to, and usually something to do at home. No open-ended treatment with no end in sight — the plan has review points built in.
